• Yoga Nidra for the Full Blue Moon

    Join Nicole for a Virtual Yoga Nidra class with Candlelight Live on our YouTube channel! There's a Full Blue Moon meaning its the 2nd Full Moon in a month the morning of Halloween at 10:49am.  This will be a magical time to do a Nidra practice.  
    Yoga Nidra – also known as Yogic Sleep – is a state of consciousness similar to the process of drifting off to sleep. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of their inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness
    Class will be Livestreamed on our YouTube Channel. Reminder...we are only asking for donations to any livestream or video. These monies will be turned over to our Pay it Forward, Pending Yoga Program once we reopen.
    Find a comfortable quiet place where you can lay in savasana and listen for an hour. An hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3-4 hours of natural sleep. New Moons are for setting intentions for the weeks ahead.

  • LIVE! Spooky Halloween Yoga for the WHOLE Family

    Don your Halloween finest and join us for some spooky yoga fun in the comfort of your home as we bring some fun to your Halloween morning LIVE from JBYS! This is a class for the whole family to enjoy together and have some spooktacular fun while doing it.
    Donations accepted. All monies will be placed in Just Breathe Yoga Studio's Pay it Forward Yoga Program. These will be converted into Angel cards for the Pending Yoga board located in the JBYS office. This board is a no questions asked system where classes are donated for people who may not be able to pay for the class otherwise.

    Yoga in pregnancy is safe, Prenatal yoga is highly recommended for the expectant mother. It can help reduce stress, calm the mind and nervous system, help you to become stronger physically, increase your level of energy, and help you gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment, and will introduce you to other expectant mothers. 
    Learn how to begin or adapt your practice during any stage of pregnancy. We’ll practice yoga poses to open our hips, align our pelvis, and build strength and stamina to prepare for labor. We will focus on the prenatal benefits of pranayama (breathing), asana (posture), relaxation and meditation techniques.

    It IS a tradition to have a restorative yoga class the week of Thanksgiving. We were determined to have it this year one way or another, so we had to move it to our YouTube Channel due to the COVID restrictions.  AND we're adding sound as well.
