Join Nicole for a Virtual Yoga Nidra class with Candlelight Live on our YouTube channel! There's a Full Blue Moon meaning its the 2nd Full Moon in a month the morning of Halloween at 10:49am.  This will be a magical time to do a Nidra practice.   Yoga Nidra – also known as Yogic Sleep – is a state of consciousness similar to the process of drifting off to sleep. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of their inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness Class will be Livestreamed on our YouTube Channel. Reminder...we are only asking for donations to any livestream or video. These monies will be turned over to our Pay it Forward, Pending Yoga Program once we reopen. Find a comfortable quiet place where you can lay in savasana and listen for an hour. An hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3-4 hours of natural sleep. New Moons are for setting intentions for the weeks ahead.
